This Request for Quotations (the "RFQ") is an invitation by the City of Lethbridge (the "City") to prospective respondents to submit quotations for Southern Alberta Art Gallery (SAAG) Upgrades - Construction. The City of Lethbridge is seeking qualified contractors to provide construction services for renovation of the Southern Alberta Art Gallery (SAAG). The project will upgrade the facility to support expanded operational capabilities and enable the gallery to meet advanced requirements for contemporary art exhibitions. These improvements will enhance safety, accessibility, sustainability and public engagement strengthening SAAG's role as a cultural anchor withing the community. The purpose of this project is to renovate and modernize the SAAG facility to: Meet advanced facility requirements for contemporary art exhibitions Improve interior spaces with a focus on safety, security, and accessibility Implement sustainability upgrades, including LED lighting and energy-efficient systems Enhance the gallery's interface with Galt Gardens through modest food service offerings and improved public areas Support additional functional upgrades and operational improvements to strengthen SAAG's long-term capacity The successful proponent will provide comprehensive construction services to complete the renovation and modernization of the SAAG facility, in accordance with the drawings, specifications and supporting documents included in the bid package.
