Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Lethbridge, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The pavement on Whoop-Up Drive over Oldman river bridge deck eastbound has deteriorated and requires repair to protect water from seeping in and destroy the underlying membrane. The selected contractor need to have the capabilities to mill and pave the entire eastbound of Whoop-Up Drive over Oldman river bridge deck. The works involve: Mill the existing asphalt pavement at a specified depth of 50mm. The width limit will be between the yellow and white line. Clean out all the milled surface ready for paving. The contractor should be aware, beneath the pavement exists a waterproofing membrane that must not be damaged during the milling operation. Pave the entire milled deck to thickness of 50 mm and compact to the maximum expected density of the asphalt mix.
