Town Building Updates and Repairs - General Building Construction Direct inquiries to Kathleen Connelly, email address connellyarchitect@gmail.com with the subject heading Town of Scipio Updates and Repairs Required Bid Security may consist of a Bid Bond from a recognized Surety, licensed to do business in New York State for 5% of the Bid or a Certified check no less than 5% of the Bid Amount, payable to Town of Scipio. A Performance and Payment Bond issued by a Surety licensed to do business in New York State. To be considered competent, the Performance and Payment Bond must be provided within 24 hours of Receipt of Bids. Clarifications requested by bidders must be received by email at the office of the Architect not less than 7 days before date set for receipt of bids (Last acceptable day for clarification requests is June 29, 2022.) The Contract, if awarded, shall be determined by the low responsible Bid, subject to the Owner's right to reject any or all Bids and waive any informality in the Bids or in the bidding and to accept the Bid or Bids which, in their judgment, is in their own best interest
