Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Audubon, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project scope includes the resurfacing of the tennis courts and basketball courts at the High School, along with drainage improvements and minor sidewalk repairs; and the resurfacing and fencing/drainage improvements to the playground area at Haviland Elementary School. Proposals must be made on the standard Proposal forms in the manner designated in the Contract documents, must be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the name and address of the Bidder and the name of the project on the outside and be addressed to the Audubon School District, 350 Edgewood Avenue, Audubon, NJ, and must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey and acceptable to the Audubon School District and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of Treasurer of the Audubon School District for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful bidder is hereby notified that a performance bond for the full amount of this project is required. The award of the Contract for this project will not be made until the necessary funds have been provided by the Audubon School District in a lawful manner. This project is funded by the Audubon School District. The Contractors shall adhere to all requirements of said agency. The School District or the Engineer reserves the right to require a complete experience statement from prospective bidders showing that they have satisfactorily completed work of the nature required before awarding the Contract. Proposals for this Contract will only be accepted from bidders who have properly qualified in accordance with the requirements of the Contract documents. The right is also reserved to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities where such informality is not detrimental to the best interest of the Township. The right is also reserved to increase or decrease the quantities specified in the manner designated in the Specifications. The successful bidder shall be required to comply with the following: Affirmative Action requirements (P.L. 1975, C.127, N.J.A.C. 17:27, N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq.). The provisions of the New Jersey Prevailing Wage Act (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.25 et seq.). DPMC - NJ Department of Property Management & Construction Certification required, and must be in the Bid Package at time of Receipt, current for 2022; certified for Site Work. Anti-Kickback Regulations under Section 2 of the Act of June 13, 1934, known as the Copeland Act. Worker and Community Right-to-Know Act (N.J.S.A. 34:5A-1). New Jersey Business Registration Certificate (P.L. 2004 C.57 & P.L. 2009, c.315). Disclosure of Investment Activities in Iran (P.L. 2012, C.25). Moreover, the bid must be accompanied by a list of names and addresses of all stockholders owning 10% or more of the stock in accordance with the provisions of the Public Disclosure Law (P.L. 1988, C.33, N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2). All work on this contract shall be completed within ninety (90) calendar days. Rebuild the tennis courts at the High School including: Tree removals, grubbing and cleaning perimeter along residences. Open up fence to gain access at ADA ramp Remove old net footings for posts /center straps, save old holes for new cone ftgs. Mill out 5-inches ofold surface Install all new post footings/in-ground sleeves for nets and new center strap ftgs, using old geometry. 6. Build new pavement section with non-woven geotextile, stone dust, HMA, level low areas at time ofstone dust to improve slopes to 1.0-percent, away from the walls. Match new pav't surface to limit ofmilling, no exception. Remove old timber RxRtie wall Mill and level single ADA ramp spot to meet ADA rules. OWNER agrees to measure and pay for the HMA top course required at this ADA spot, since the tonnage is variable, and not able to be included in the LS Pay Item; however, the milling, preparation, restoration, striping, symbols and new ADA Van Accessible Sign shall be included in the LS Pay Item Price for Tennis Courts. When milling the tennis courts, mill out the narrow HMA strip next to the gate, and then profile mill the ADA parking area, and then layout with a survey stake out crew the new ADA certified Van Accessible Parking Spot, 18-ft long x 16-ft wide; once paved and verified to meet max slope of 2-percent, both ways, complete the ADA Compliant Blue Striping, Gore Area and Symbols, then finish off with one new Concrete Bumper Stop with pins and one Van Accessible Sign and Penalty Placard. 10. Remove narrow strip of old driveway coming up to fence line, restore with 6- inches oftopsoil, seed and mulch. 11. Furnish and install new 24-inch high EP Henry Coventry, or equal, modular block wall matching the existing wall at the track; finish offwith solid cap, using adhesive. Extend the retaining wall from far left to right side, end and transition to zero right next to the concrete walkway up to the tennis entrance. 12. Purchase all new Square Posts with cranks, new nets and straps for five courts. 13. Wait min. 3-weeks and then perform 4-coat latex color coat system using services ofa certified latex painting contractor
