The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is soliciting electronic bids for maintenance of a section of Bomb Road on State Game Lands (SGL) #127. The scope of the project includes making drainage improvements, road surface preparation and roadway construction with base material and #2A coarse aggregate. Duration: Upon Award through 10/28/22 Questions concerning project specifications and requirements should be directed to Foster Schaffer in the PGC Engineering Division at 717-787-4250, ext. 73322. Any questions concerning completion of an electronic bid should be directed to the PGC Procurements Division at 717-787-6594. The dispatchers at the regional office will relay messages to Mr. Gildea. You may also contact Dave Brundage, PGC Monroe County Foreman, at 570-894-0554. This phone number is for the PGC Monroe County maintenance building in Tobyhanna. The personnel that operate out of this building are frequently in the field; please leave a message and your call will be returned. The project area is open to public travel. Permission is not required to visit the site; however, we recommend contacting Mr. Gildea or Mr. Brundage for directions and for status of road conditions before going to the site. The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical defects in bids and to accept or reject any part of the bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, and all bidders will be advised of the bid results. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the successful bidder. Awarded vendor will be sent a copy of this document and no work will be authorized until the vendor is in receipt of the Purchase Order
