Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways is planning an extension of Highway No. 2 twinning lanes north of Prince Albert for approximately 6.5 km to just beyond the junction with Grid Road 780 (White Star Road) complete with access improvements and new taper back to two lanes at the north extent of the project. Engineering services are required to complete the project design in three phases: Phase 1 - The preliminary planning phase will deliver a functional plan memo establishing general project requirements based on desktop review. Phase 2 - The planning phase will deliver a detailed location report and a drainage assessment memo that incorporates stakeholder engagement and consultation. Phase 3 - The Detail Design phase will include development of the geotechnical field program, ROW drawings for Ministry land purchase, detailed design (grading, hydraulic and surfacing), tender package, and construction plan. Category of Work: Transportation - Planning (T-Plan), Design - Grading (D-Grad), Design - Surfacing (D- Surf), and Design - Culvert (D-Culv) Prequalified firms are invited to submit a long form proposal to provide engineering services for the above noted project. Prequalified Consultants being held in a probationary status at time of competition close, should reference the Professional Services Procurement Manual - PSPM 100-04 for additional information pertaining to their eligibility to participate in this competition. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
