As described in the General Provisions, the successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and a separate Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total Contract Price, and each issued by a California-admitted surety as defined in Code of Civil Procedure Section 995.120. The Project is a "public work" project that is subject to, among other laws, Labor Code Sections 1720 through 1861, inclusive.
