The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) is soliciting electronic bids for maintenance of a section of Brady's Lake Road on State Game Lands (SGL) #127. The scope of the project includes making drainage improvements, road surface preparation and roadway construction with #2A coarse aggregate and Driving Surface Aggregate (DSA). Bids will be opened electronically in the Division of Contracts and Procurement, 2001 Elmerton Avenue, Harrisburg, PA 17110-9797. Bids must be received by the purchasing agency on the Solicitation Due Date no later than the Solicitation Due Time as set forth in the solicitation. Any conflict between the dates and/or times contained in the solicitation itself or its attachments and this advertisement shall be resolved in favor of the solicitation. When bidding, amount bid should be in dollars and cents-----no fractions of a cent will be accepted. The personnel that operate out of this building are frequently in the field; please leave a message and your call will be returned. The project area is open to public travel. Permission is not required to visit the site; however, we recommend contacting Mr. Gildea or Mr. Brundage for directions and for status of road conditions before going to the site. Attached to the project listing in electronic format are Terms and Conditions of Project, Conditions for Construction Contracts and Technical Specifications (Sections 1 through 7). Two drawings titled "Brady's Lake Road Maintenance Project, Phase 3" are also attached. A bid guarantee or bond is not required. The Commonwealth reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technical defects in bids and to accept or reject any part of the bid deemed in the best interests of the Commonwealth. Except as otherwise provided by law, award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, and all bidders will be advised of the bid results. A Purchase Order will be generated at the time of award without further input from the successful bidder. Awarded vendor will be sent a copy of this document and no work will be authorized until the vendor is in receipt of the Purchase Order. All vendors who conduct business with the Pennsylvania Game Commission must have a Vendor No. assigned to them in order to receive payment from the Commonwealth.
