The Dallas Independent School District ("District") is soliciting Competitive Sealed Proposals ("CSP") from qualified sources relative to the provision of the following request For Competitive Sealed Proposals ("CSP"). Maple Lawn Elementary School Renovations Scope of Work. The Work consists of entry vestibule addition and renovations. 1. Replace Interior Doors and Hardware. Re-Key entire facility per district "Grand Master" keying System. 2. Replace Teaching Surfaces at classrooms as indicated on plans 3. Replace carpet /vinyl composite tile (VCT) and base as noted on plans. 4. Repaint all previously painted interior surfaces. Repair / Patch walls prior to painting. 5. Replace Educational Casework in classroom as indicated on plans. 6. Provide new marquee sign at front entry 7. Replace Existing Wood Gym Flooring (include restriping) 8. Paint Gym Structure and Roof Decking. 9. Remove and Replace Gym Wall Padding, Backboards, Goals, & Supports 10. Provide new/additional acoustical treatment at Gym 11. Provide security Updates including cameras, card access readers, and door contacts. 12. Provide secure front vestibule and reconfigure Administration area. 13. Replace oldest roof with Modified Bitumen Roof System. 14. Replace exterior waterproofing / sealant joints 15. Paint all previously painted exterior surfaces and power wash as required. Provide new landscaping. Construct new entry canopy. 16. Replace CTP built up Roof with Modified Bitumen Roof System. 17. Perform mild detergent medium pressure wash on stained or mildewed facade. 18. Repair broken and cracked exterior wall cladding. 19. Replace outdated exterior windows with new energy efficient window assembly. 20. Remove and Replace Concrete Sidewalks & Pavement 21. Replace Fire Alarm System 22. Provide exterior lighting controls for new exterior lights. 23. Replace Interior lights with LED Lighting. 24. Replace exterior lights with LED Lighting. 25. Provide/replace IDF/MDF air conditioning. 26. Mechanical/HVAC Improvements including new fan coil, split system & Roof Top Units, Replacing Air Cooled Chiller, Exhaust Fans, Water Pumps & Ductwork, and provide controls on pumps & units 27. Replace split system AHU serving auditorium. 28. Plumbing Improvements include Washer/Dryer connections, new hot and cold-water piping, waste piping, replacing hot water heater, and hose replacement. 29. Provide Interior Lighting Controls for New Lights. 30. Upgrade incandescent Stage Lighting. The Dallas Independent School District's Construction Services projects have a 30% Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) construction goal.
