The City of Ogdensburg hereby gives notice that sealed bids will be received by the Office of the City Comptroller for the following project: Oswegatchie Pump House - Roof Replacement
720 Mechanic Street Ogdensburg, NY 13669 The work to be performed or executed under these specifications consists of materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the contract documents to complete the work listed with this request and generally described as follows: The project generally is the removal of a collapsed roof and replacing it with a new roof structure and roofing materials. The project will include but is not limited to selective removal and off-site disposal of metal roofing, sheathing and structural wood framing members down to existing concrete walls and providing new wood trusses and metal roofing. The project is located at 720 Mechanic Street, Ogdensburg, NY. See project summary and maps (A-100) for a more complete description. All questions regarding this Request for Bids should be directed to the City of Ogdensburg Department of Public Works Director, Shane Brown at 315-393-2010 or via email at sbrown@ogdensburg.org. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda and posted on the website with the bid documents. Questions received less than ten (10) days prior to the date of the opening of Bids may not be answered. The City reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids if, in its opinion, the best interest of the City will thereby be promoted and to waive any informalities or defects in such bids before or after opening.
