Springbrook Water Reclamation Center UV Disinfection Improvements The City of Naperville is accepting sealed bids from qualified vendors to supply labor, equipment, supplies and material associated with the Springbrook Water Reclamation Center UV Disinfection Improvements project. The work generally includes construction of wastewater treatment facilities for ultraviolet disinfection of wastewater and non-potable water system pumping, including, demolition of existing disinfection facilities, modifications to chlorine contact basins for conveyance of wastewater, flow metering, yard piping, outfall construction, UV facility construction, electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, structural, and instrumentation and controls construction. DESCRIPTION OF WORK 1. The Work to be performed under this Contract consists of the construction of wastewater treatment facilities for ultraviolet disinfection of wastewater, and; 2. Non-potable water system pumping, including demolition of existing disinfection facilities, modifications to chlorine contact basins for conveyance of wastewater, flow metering, yard piping, and outfall construction; 3. UV facility construction, electrical, plumbing, heating, ventilation, structural, and instrumentation and controls construction. 4. Underground vault and small pre-fabricated electrical building.
