Site work for a water / sewer project in Cape Coral, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The owner has determined a prequalified list of general contractors. The Contractors will perform all necessary WORK required for the construction of the Utilities Extension Project (UEP) NORTH 1 West and East Construction per all specifications, plans, and instructions. The project consists of multiple utilities including, but not limited to, sewer, potable water, irrigation, and storm water which will be constructed using a variety of techniques including, but not limited to, open cut, directional drilling, jacking and boring, aerial crossings and others. The work is planned to be bid as twelve (12) construction contracts, in two phases, as follows: West Contracts 1 - 6, in random order, will be initially issued for bid and it is the City's intention that East Contracts 7 - 12 will be issued for bid approximately 12 months later. NO QUESTIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER: 2:00 pm, (ET) on June 29, 2022, all questions must be submitted in writing to mconnell@capecoral.gov and received by stated time. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals in whole or in part and to waive any irregularities or informalities when in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Cape Coral. Each of the twelve (12) ITBs estimated construction costs range between $19 and $35 Million.
