The City of Perry, Georgia (City) is now accepting sealed proposals from qualified contractors to provide and construct a playground at Pine Needle Park that is accessible and suitable for children ages two (2) - ten (10). The proposed site, address 1020 Country Club Road, hereto after referred to as the Site, is currently a grassed public park space adjacent to public parking and additional park improvements. Please see Exhibit A for site location overview (approximate location of the playground is denoted as Future Playground on Exhibit A). Proposals should demonstrate ability to deliver the desired type of playground in a professional, comprehensive, and quality manner. Proposed playground design and uses should provide for equitable usage opportunities for children of all abilities ages from two (2) to ten (10) years. This fully inclusive playground will incorporate physical, cognitive, social, sensory and communicative elements to enhance the play of children who have different abilities and should exclude barriers that limit their experiences. The City is anticipating a project budget of approximately $50,000 to include installation.
