Renovation of a municipal facility in Findlay, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

All in accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by Garmann/Miller & Associates, Inc., Minster, OH | Columbus, OH | Indianapolis, IN A Lump Sum bid for the project will be received A Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, irrevocable letter of credit, or surety company bond pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised code in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany each bid; or a bid guaranty bond in accordance with Chapter 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100% of the total bid shall accompany each bid. Successful Bidders shall conform to the Davis-Bacon Act Schedule of Prevailing Wages. The bidder may access the Federal Prevailing Wages at www.same.gov under wage determination for current edition of wage rates Each bid must be submitted in duplicate on a blank form furnished by the Architect, in a sealed envelope. Mark plainly on the outside of the envelope, the project you are bidding on. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, irregularities and/or errors in the bids to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids. General Construction: Bid Package 01 The General Construction scope of work consists of an interior renovation to an existing office building. The scope includes selective demolition of existing wood stud walls. There are a few masonry walls that will be furred out with gypsum wallboard. There will be construction of new wood stud walls with gypsum wallboard and acoustic batt insulation, new acoustic ceiling tile ceiling, new flooring (by owner), painting (by owner), and a small amount of fixed casework. There are new wood doors with hollow metal frames and aluminum storefront included in the scope. Site Work: Bid Package 01 The Site scope of work includes removal of pavements, tree stumps and fencing, new parking and drives and repair to existing parking lots, concrete walks and dumpster pad, fencing & gates, and planting. Fire Protection Work: Bid Package 01 Modify existing fire suppressoin within the limted area mechanical rooms as required. Plumbing Work: Bid Package 01 Selective demolition of existing restrooms, piping, and water heater throughout the building. Provide new fixtures and associated piping to serve group restrooms and pharmacy sink. Work will also inlcude modifying existing natural gas piping to each new gas fired furnaces. Electrical Work: Bid Package 01 Selective demolition of existing lighting, power, and systems throughout the building. Provide new lighting, power from existing local panels, and fire alarm. The new lighting system will contain LED luminaries with local controls will be installed in each new space. Provide power to the new mechanical system including a condensing unit, water heater, furnaces, and the like. Pathways for future technology cabling to be installed. Technology Work: For Reference Only The technology scope of work will be by the owner and has been included in the project manual and document set for reference only.
