Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Lexington, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
All pre-bid questions concerning the contract documents and the work contained therein must be submitted in writing to, and received by, John Livsey P.E., Town Engineer, 201 Bedford Street, Lexington, MA 02420, before Friday, June 24, 2022. The work under this contract includes a Base Bid and Add-Alternative Bid. The Base Bid includes hot mix asphalt curb installation, granite transition curb, hot mix asphalt sidewalk and driveway installation, minor roadway box widening, catch basin, leaching basin, and gutter inlet and drain pipe installation, Idylwilde driveway and parking lot reconstruction, curb bumpout construction, cement concrete pedestrian ramp construction, traffic signing and pavement marking installation, RRFB installation (equipment to be provided by the Town), tree and shrub plantings, loose stone wall removed and reset, grading, loam and seed and mulch installation, temporary traffic control management, and various other appurtenant work. The installation of sloped face granite curb, granite curb splayed ends, and granite transition curb where required is included in the contract under Add-Alternate 1. The Base Bid project value is estimated to be $570,000 with a net Add-Alternate 1 value of $95,000.
