Site work for a water / sewer project in Jeffersonville, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
For construction materials for water improvements consisting of approximately 16,560 linear feet of 12" watermain; 7,200 linear feet of 8" watermain; 4,480 linear feet of 6" watermain; 28 fire hydrants; various fittings and miscellaneous appurtenances. The funding is provided, in part, by a Community Development Block Grant. Bidders must provide E-Verify certification. This project is covered under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply. All bid forms must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The successful bidder, if awarded the Contract, will be required to furnish a Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All bonds must appear on the Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing, latest edition. Bidders shall address all questions to Tim Ingram, tim@ingrameng.com or (478) 745-3996. Twiggs County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, or irregularities, and award the bid based on the best interests of the county.
