**As of July 29, 2022, project was awarded to New England Overland Floor Specialists but awarded amount is not available.** This project consists of renovations at the above location, including but not limited to: The complete refinishing of the wood gymnasium floor including miscellaneous work The Town of Trumbull, Connecticut (hereinafter referred to as Town), through the Office of the Purchasing Agent is seeking proposals for the refinishing of the gym floor at Madison Middle School for Trumbull Board of Education in accordance with the enclosed specifications. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any requirements, irregularities, technical defects or service therein when it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. All inquiries regarding this request shall be answered up to the close of business on June 21, 2022 after which time no additional questions will be accepted. To ensure consistent interpretation of certain items, answers to questions the Town deems to be in the interest of all bidders will be made available in writing or by Fax as appropriate to all bidders. A Bond payable to the Owner must accompany each Proposal for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal. As soon as the Proposal prices have been compared, the Owner will return the bonds (if it is a check) of all except the three (3) lowest responsible Proposals. When the Agreement is executed, the bonds of the two (2) remaining unsuccessful Proposers will be returned (checks will be returned if that was submitted). The Bond of the successful Proposer will be retained until project is completed.
