Project is no longer needed.** The Commack Public Library will receive separate, sealed bids for the following contracts for the Additions and Renovations Project, as follows: ContractNo. 1 - General Construction All ofthe following information is required prior to any creden - tials bein g furnished to the potential bidder: Company name that the bid will be submitted under, company ad - dress, company phone & fax number, contact person and company elec - tronic-mail (E-mail) address. Upon receiving the above complete information, download credentials will be transmitted to the bidders supplied E-mail address and received by each bidder within 24 (twenty four hours starting as of the com mencement date stated above Bid Security in the form of a Certified Check or Money Order, payable to the order of the Commack Public Li - brarv. or a satisfactory Bid Bond exe - cuted by theBidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the Bid, shall be submitted with each Bid. The surety issuing the Bid Bond shall have a minimum policyholderrating of "A- " as listed in Best ' s Insurance Guide and be licensed as an admitted carrier to conduct business in the State of New York. - All questions and requests for clarifications must be submitted in writing via emailand received no later than June 16*. 2022 to: Beatty Harvey Coco Architects Email at BHCBidding@bhciarchitects.com Answers to bidders questions will be published in writing to all bidders ofrecord no laterthan June 17 tth. 2022. Eachcontract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder or the proposals will be rejected within sixty (60) days ofthe date of opening proposals subject, however, to the right reserved by the Board of Trustees for the Com - mack Public Library, to waive any in - formalities in, reject any or all proposals, accept any bid in whole orin part, orto advertise for new proposals, if, in the opinion of this Board of Trustees, the best interests ofthe Commack Public Library will thereby be promoted. This invitation is an offer to receive proposalsfor a contract and not an offer of a contract. EachBid shall re - main binding upon the Bidderforsixty (60) days from opening All bids shall include non-collusive bidding certification or statement re - quired by Section 103-d of the Gen - eral Municipal Law of the State of New York and shall also contain a non-segregated facilities certificate which shall provide that the bidder does not maintain or provide for his employees facilities which are segre - gated on a basis ofrace, creed, color or national origin, whether such facilities are segregated by directive or on a de facto basis. Additionally, all Bids shall include the required Iran Energy Divestment Compliance Certificate The contract will contain a provision that every laborer and workman employed on or about the work cotemplated by the contract shall be paid not less than the rate of wages which are set forth in the prevailing wage rate schedule from the New York State Department of Labor. The Commack Public Library reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities and informalities in bidding.
