Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Cost: $585,000. - $595,000. A deposit is required with the submission of the bid. When a deposit is required, the bidder must submit with the bid cash or a certified check, drawn on a bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of North Carolina, payable to Cape Fear Public Utility Authority, in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into and that satisfactory performance and payment bonds will be executed.
