Renovation of a medical facility in Prince George, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
University Hospital of Northern British Columbia fire alarm system replacement consisting of: approximately 2300 initiating devices (Pull Stations, Heat Detectors, Smoke Detectors, Miscellaneous RIAM/IAM/Etc., Sprinkler Flow Tamper Switches, and Emergency Telephones), 18 networked nodes, and 10 Annunciators, 2 Truesite Computers, and 10 reused Elevator Interconnections, and along with conventional audio speakers for notification. TIMELINE: Request for proposal for a consultant to provide engineering and design services, is closed. Award is pending. The intent of this RFP is to engage a prime consultant who shall engage, coordinate and include the fees of any sub-consultants deemed necessary to execute the scope of the work (e.g. structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) Further update in late 2022, pending selection of a preferred proponent. Construction budget is unreleased.
