Boiler Maintenance and Repair Services The University of Northern British Columbia is seeking a qualified contractor for annual boiler inspection and maintenance and as and when required repair services at its Prince George campus for an initial three-year term with two (2) one-year options to renew. The contractor shall perform maintenance on a scheduled basis as coordinated with the UNBC Chief Engineer or designate. The equipment is located on the Prince George campus and includes four (4) Unilux boilers with Weishaupt burners and a start-up burner located at the Bio Energy Plant. Maintenance is expected to meet or exceed Weishaupt manufacturer's guidelines. Additionally, the contractor shall provide boiler/burner repairs as discovered during maintenance as well as breakdown repairs. Excluded from Scope The University reserves the right to obtain competitive quotes for repairs or upgrades estimated to exceed $15,000 including parts and labour.
