Only contractors having an establishment in Quebec or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in a province covered by this agreement and holding, where applicable, an appropriate construction contractor's license issued by the Regie des Quebec construction companies. The " Municipality of Saint-Sulpice " mandated the firm gbi to answer the questions. All communications must be made in writing to: Mr. David Perrault, engineer dperrault@gbi.ca All questions or written requests must be sent no later than June 30, 2022, before 3:00 p.m. to allow the manager to respond to all requests by addendum before the opening of tenders. Any request received after this deadline will not be considered. It is agreed that any information given or communicated by an agent or employee of gbi cannot be used to interpret the tender documents or the plans and specifications or be supplementary to them. Requirements Each tender must be accompanied by a tender bond issued in favor of the " Municipality of Saint-Sulpice " in the amount equivalent to ten percent (10%) of the total tender. Only a bid bond established by an insurer holding an insurer license issued by the Autorite des marches financiers and authorizing it to carry out guarantee activity within the meaning of the Insurance Act and in accordance with standardized form BNQ 1809- 900/H will be accepted under the tender documents. This bond must be valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of opening of tenders. In addition, this bond must be accompanied by an endorsement from the insurer, issued in favor of the Municipality of Saint-Sulpice and guaranteeing the provision of a performance bond and a bond for the obligations of the Contractor for labour, materials and subcontracts, each for one hundred percent (100%) value of the contract. The tender must also be accompanied by all the other documents mentioned in the list of documents to be submitted with the tender. The " Municipality of Saint-Sulpice " reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to override a minor informality if it deems that it is in the interest of the Municipality to override, and this, that the bidder accepts and assumes. Moreover, the " Municipality of Saint-Sulpice " does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the tenders received or to incur any costs whatsoever or obligation of any kind towards the tenderer(s).
