Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Castle Rock, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

The work to be performed under this contract includes rehabilitation of two bridges within downtown Castle Rock. Rehabilitation work for South Wilcox Bridge over E. Plum Creek and Plum Creek Parkway over UPRR includes: asphalt mill and overlay; concrete removal/replacement Class 2 & Class 3; concrete barrier repair; expansion joint cleaning; deck waterproofing, repair of thin bonded epoxy overlay & saw and seal of expansion joints. It is required that all work on the South Wilcox Bridge over E. Plum Creek, and Plum Creek Parkway over UPRR be performed at night. See General Notes sheet of the Construction Plans (attached as Appendix A) for lane closure and work hour information for both locations. Contractor will be required to coordinate construction activities with trash removal companies, school district, HOA, Railroads, and Metro Districts if applicable. The Contractor shall supply all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the work in accordance with these specifications. The Contractor shall commence work no later than ten (3) calendar days from, and including, the date of the Notice to Proceed. Once work has commenced the Contractor shall complete work and be construction complete (including punch-list items, cleanup, and demobilize) within twenty (20) working days from Notice to Proceed. Work shall take place between August 15, 2022 and September 12, 2022.
