The Pembina Hall residence building at the University of Manitoba requires a major upgrade to refurbish the existing coolers and freezers on the Level 200 of the kitchen area. This project is to provide a Design-Build solution to procure the Mechanical contractors who will be responsible as the General contractor and will carry the other required consultants and contractors as subs. It is expected that the design portion of work will take approximately 2-3 months to complete, followed by supply and installation. A complete and detailed schedule will be developed with the successful proponent. Construction of the project will be scheduled in phased approach to avoid any major disruption to the food services operations. The detailed phased scheduled will be developed with the design team. The Preliminary construction budget has been established at $250,000.00 for refurbishing the walk-in coolers and freezer in the Pembina Hall.
