Renovation of a mixed-use development in Carnegie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.

A timeline for award has not yet been established.* Questions pertaining to the content of the bid documents shall be directed to Landau Building Company, Chet Beres (cberes@landau-bldg.com) during bidding A Certified check payable to the Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall or a bid bond on the bid form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the Owner, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid, must be submitted with each bid or bids will be considered nonresponsive and immediately rejected. Successful Bidder awarded this contract shall provide Labor & Material and Performance payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent 100% of the Contract Amount. The Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall and Landau Building Company are Equal Opportunity Employers. All qualified bidders are invited to submit a proposal for this project. All bid submissions must be in compliance with the following, as applicable: a. Pennsylvania Flood Plain Management Act 166 (32.P.S. 679.101-679.601) and the regulations issued pursuant thereto (Title 12, Chapter 113) b. Steel Products Procurement Act of March 3, 1978, (P.L.6, No. 3, 1, 73 P.S. 1881 et, seq.) c. Trade Practices Act (71 P.S. 773.101 et seq.) d. Public Works Grant Recipient's Bond Law of 1967 (8 P.S. 191 et seq.) if the amount of the contract exceeds $5,000 e. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (43 P.S. 165-1 et seq.) if the estimated cost of the total project exceeds $25,000 f. Minority and Women Business Enterprise (Executive Order 1996-8) g. Agricultural Land Preservation Policy (Executive Order 2003-2) h. Commonwealth Procurement Code (62 Pa.C.S. 101 et seq.) The Andrew Carnegie Free Library & Music Hall and Landau Building Company reserve the right to waive any irregularities, to accept or reject any bids, and reserve the right to choose the lowest responsible bidder. Estimated Project Cost: $300K-$350k *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
