The City of Santa Clara ("City") is soliciting proposals from a qualified Electrical Line Clearance Contractor to enter into a five-year term service agreement to provide supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, and traffic control equipment necessary to perform Tree Trimming Services in a safe and proper manner for Power Line Clearance for Silicon Valley Power ("SVP"), the City's Electric Utility. Contractor shall perform all power line clearance tree-trimming in a manner designed to eliminate tree contact with power lines and to optimize clearance from high voltage electrical equipment without damaging the structural integrity of the trees. The initial term of the agreement will be five (5) years. At its sole discretion, the City reserves the right to exercise up to five (5) one-year options to extend the agreement, for a total of ten (10) years. Deadline for Questions July 1, 2022 before 5:00 PM This is no pre-proposal conference for this solicitation. Include your firms valid C-61/D-49 Tree Service Contractors License number issued by the California License Board. The license must be in the proposer's name or in the name of a principal currently working at the proposer's firm (owner, president, etc.).
