The Project is generally de- scribed as but not limited to; SEWER CAMPUS - Existing fluorescent, incandescent and high-pressure sodium fixtures to LED fixtures CIVIC CENTER - Existing flu- orescent and incandescent fix- tures to LED fixtures All bidders will be required to provide a Certified Check or Bid Bond for 5% of bid price (maxi- mum-$10,000) made payable to the City of Millbrook. All bidders must comply with the requirements of the Contrac- tor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama and be certified for the type of work for which a pro- posal is submitted. Award will be made only to competent and responsible bidders as mandat- ed by Title 39 of the Code of Alabama. All bidders must be licensed under Title 34 of the Code of Alabama. The bidder is hereby notified that they must provide the in- formation necessary to show evidence of license before an award is made. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 30 (thirty) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The successful bidder will be allowed 45 (forty-five) days to complete this project. The City of Millbrook, Alabama, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into this advertisement, women and minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin in consid- eration for an award. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in their judgment, the best inter- ests of the City will thereby be promoted.
