This Specification outlines the requirements to furnish and deliver Transportation Air Hose and Fittings for the Port Authority of Allegheny County's Light Rail Vehicles, complete as specified herein. The specification also requires the Contractor to supply the appropriate crimping machine through a rental agreement to the Port Authority for a period of up to six (6) months, beginning on the date that the air hose and fittings are delivered to the Authority's Rail Center. The Contractor shall also provide in-person training at the Authority's Rail Center on the use of the crimping machine, as specified. Additionally this document contains the Advertisement, Specification, Insurance Requirements, Sample Copies of the Agreement, Sample Copies of Performance Bond and the Conditions and Instructions to Bidders. It is recommended that you take the time to read the attached documents - especially the "Conditions and Instructions to Bidders".
