The design, installation of charging stations is the first step to scaling a multiservice EV program. The Respondent should be able to educate, in collaboration with the City and Isles, stakeholder groups including the State, the local electric utility, current and prospective EV drivers, station hosts and providers, e-mobility companies, community organizations, and ridesharing drivers about how the system works. The city is looking for a turn-key program. The Respondent must understand and provide the equipment and a plan for deployment, marketing and maintaining the stations. The city sees this initial deployment of stations as an opportunity to act as a catalyst for further market and government investment in charging infrastructure and EVs.
