Site work, outdoor lighting, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Ajax, Ontario. Conceptual plans call for site work for a recreation facility; for the addition of a recreation facility; and for the renovation of a recreation facility.

Facility improvements to the Ajax Community Centre. The project will include new warm water pool, modernized fitness facilities, new gymnasium, accessibility improvements, modernization of interior rooms, structural improvements. New Gymnasium - High School Basketball Court; New Barrier Free Entrance to Arena 1 & 2; New Storage; New Filtration; Renovate Existing Lane Pool; Renovate Existing Fitness Centre; New Fitness Centre; Existing Squash Court; Renovate Existing Lobby; Renovate Existing Change Rooms; New Washrooms/Change and Multi-purpose Rooms; 17. Narrow Drive and New Drop-off areas. Audio Replacement has now been included in the scope of work. TIMELINE: This project is very preliminary and has been included in the town of Ajax Recreation Master Plan. Conceptual design will occur in 2024 & detailed design in 2025. Construction will not occur until 2026. Audio replacements has now been added to the scope of work, was previously covered under a separate report. Updates may be available early 2024, or upon release of an RFP for design services.
