Pace NW Transportation Center ADA Transfer Facility / Schaumburg The project consists of renovations, alterations, and expansion of existing transportation center including surface parking lot, outdoor canopy, and waiting areas for Pace Bus pick-up and drop-off stations as follows: a. Expansion of existing surface parking lot area to include adjacent 0.76 acre site. New site will have relocated bus entry drive, additional parking, site lighting, and landscaping. b. Demolition of existing buildings, parking lots, and miscellaneous utilities and structures related to above work, including a one-story post office building and portions of the outdoor canopy. c. Demolition of existing restrooms and utility kiosk to be replaced with a new fully ADA accessible shelter building, including waiting room, public restrooms, driver facilities, and utility functions. d. New high performance paint coatings on existing outdoor canopy structural framework.
