Renovation of a water / sewer project in Schaumburg, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Northwest Suburban Municipal Joint Action Water Agency (The Water Agency) hereby solicits proposals from qualified firms for professional services relative to replacement of a standby generator at the NSMJAWA Braintree Booster Station. The Northwest Suburban Municipal Joint Action Water Agency (The Water Agency) obtains treated lake water from the City of Chicago at the Main Pump Station near the eastern boundary of O Hare International Airport. From the delivery point, the Agency's transmission mains, booster stations, and delivery stations extend west and northwest in a 55-mile network providing water service to over 500,000 consumers in seven (7) member municipalities. As of November 3. 2023, per owner, a design team has been identified and the project is ongoing. Project began construction in September 2023 and is expected to be completed by December 2024.
