The Village of Port Clements is seeking the services of a consultant to undertake a comprehensive review and update of the Village Official Community Plan Bylaw NO: 398 The Village Council has identified the review of the current Official Community Plan (OCP) as a priority for 2022 with the goal to have the comprehensive update adopted early 2023. The update of the OCP should focus on land use, and must include Housing Planning Strategy and Community Green House Gas Reduction Targets. Therefore, we are requesting proposals from consultants with proven experience in master planning, community and stakeholders' consultation, and zoning regulations to assist the Village in achieving a new OCP that reflects the current statues, and community vision The proponents are to provide references that attest to their past experience with policy reviews and updates, a price for service including an estimate for travel cost for site visits. The lowest priced proposal may not be accepted. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, accept a proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the community, or cancel the RFP at any time. The Village will not be responsible for any cost incurred by proponents in preparing a response. The proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Cost References demonstrating past experiences with policy reviews and updates Quality of sample review The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
