The Town of Burns invites sealed bids from qualified electrical contractors interested in providing lighting installation services in support of the Towns park lighting improvements efforts at Municipal Park. The contractor selected will be responsible for performing all work and furnishing all materials and equipment necessary to provide electrical service and install and erect Musco Sports Lighting that will be supplied by the Town of Burns. For scope of work, the bid should include the materials and labor for digging, setting, and erecting light poles and LED lights, along with all necessary trenching, conduit, and wiring in order to install ballfield lighting and controls at Municipal Park in the Town of Burns. Musco Sports Lighting will be provided by the Town of Burns. Bidders shall place their bid in a sealed envelope along with a bid bond and certificates of insurance. The outside of the envelope must indicate the bidders name, license number, expiration date, and that part of classification applying to the bid in accordance with TCA 62-6-119. Bids not conforming to these provisions shall not be opened. Each bidder agrees by the submission of his bid to commence work within thirty (30) days of the issuance by the Town of a written Notice to Proceed and to fully complete the work within sixty (60) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond. Installation shall meet Musco Sports Lighting standards. No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the date of the opening thereof. The work shall have a one-year warranty secured by a bond. Any bids received after the scheduled submission deadline will be returned unopened to the bidder. Fax bids will not be accepted.
