Riverside County Transportation Commission (Commission) invites bids from responsible, qualified contractors to provide construction services for the State Route 71 / State Route 91 Interchange Project and Related Work, as further described under the IFB. Bid security in favor of the Commission in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) is required. Bids shall be valid for 180 days. The Commission affirmatively assures that Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and that no bidder, contractor or subcontractor will be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, sex or national origin in consideration for an award. For this contract RCTC has established a 20% DBE-participation goal. If a Bidder does not achieve the established DBE goal, its bid will be deemed responsive only if, in the Commission's sole opinion, it meets the Good Faith Efforts requirements. This project is subject to state and federal prevailing wages. All contractors will be required to pay appropriate prevailing wages as discussed in the IFB. The successful Bidder is required to have a Class "A" license or class sufficient to accomplish the work at the time of award.
