The City of Corona is requesting Prequalification Statements from interested Design-Build (D-B) Entities for the Water Reclamation Facility No. 2 Equalization Basin Replacement Project. The City plans to select a D-B Entity for the Project through a two-step competitive selection process. This request for Prequalification Statements is the first step in that process. The D-B Entity must possess appropriately licensed contracting, architectural, and engineering services as needed for a design-build contract. City will consider teams consisting of a general contractor with contractual relationships with entities providing the other required licenses and capable of providing all services required for the Project. The D-B Entity is expected to have design-build experience with projects similar in size, scope, type and complexity of cost. The scope of work will generally consist of the following for this project: -Decommission and demolish existing flow equalization for two ponds -Design and construct a new EQ Basin including an aluminum cover, basin mixers, panel aeration system, and partition wall divider. -Design and construct an engineered media Biofilter Odor Control System -Decommission and demolish existing screw pump station -Design and construct a new high-volume, low lift sewage pump station -Design and construct new facilities with safe access for inspection and cleaning. -All electrical, instrumentation, surveying, geotechnical engineering, permitting and regulatory approvals including AQMD compliance. -SCADA programming and system integration to be coordinated with the City’s SCADA programming vendor. Provide startup, performance testing, and operations training D-B Entities shall access the Documents & Attachments Tab to review and download all prequalification documents posted on the PlanetBids website for the Project. Financial Statements should be submitted as separate pdf file(s) from the D-B entity’s response file. The City is providing a full prequalification document as a single file and separate files for the Prequalification Questionnaire and the Skilled and Trained Workforce Certification for D-B Entity convenience. It is mandatory that all interested D-B Entities submit a complete Prequalification Statement, including a completed Prequalification Questionnaire, Skilled and Trained Workforce Certification, and ALL additional requested materials electronically through PlanetBids, for City’s review and evaluation. Please allow sufficient time to fully complete and upload all documents prior to the submission deadline. Request for Prequalification Statements documents can be uploaded, modified or withdrawn any time prior to the submission deadline.
