The Issaquah Clean Buildings Initiative (ICBI) will support buildings in reducing energy use by providing a streamlined path for complying with state standards, applying for incentives, and identifying other funding opportunities to support energy efficiency upgrades. By bringing buildings into early compliance ahead of the state requirements under the Clean Buildings Standard, this initiative supports the City of Issaquah's Climate Action Plan target of 25% decrease in energy use (natural gas and electricity) in new and existing buildings communitywide by 2030 from 2017 levels through implementation of BE 1.1 Develop Energy Efficiency and Outreach Programs. The City of Issaquah is seeking a service provider to partner with the City in implementing this program over an initial 18 month period.
