Contract No. 1 General Rehabilitation 19 Le Boeuf Street Base Bid - Furnish and Install various rehabilitation materials and labor to include : Furnish & Install : Fifteen (15) new vinyl replacement windows as detailed in the scope of service - lead item, new exterior door & storm door on rear of the house ,new electric heating units with t- stats in each room in house, new 200 amp electric service and all wiring (owner has new panel box), remove existing fuel oil plumbing, fuel tank & chimney and patch roof, rim joist insulation, replace existing ADA tub/shower unit in downstairs bathroom, repair sub floor and install new vinyl flooring. Additionally, the Base Bid will also require new smoke & carbon monoxide detectors as well as lead hazard remediation work items detailed in the Lead Risk Assessment & LBP Inspection. 19 Le Boeuf Street - Additive Bid - Furnish & Install full bathroom on 2nd floor as detailed in the scope of service, four (4) vinyl replacement or new install basement windows. The attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to lead certifications. Bid Solicitations and Contract Documents are provided by the Development Authority of the North Country as part of the Authority's due diligence in its role as the NYS AHC Consultant for the Village of Tupper Lake . The Village of Tupper Lake is the recipient of the New York State AHC Grant funding. The Development Authority, working with Village of Tupper Lake staff, will review all bids submitted for completeness. The Development Authority will make recommendation to the homeowner on the lowest responsible bidder. The Rehabilitation Contract will be between the Homeowner and the Contractor. MWBEs and Section 3 contractors are encouraged to apply. The contractor will ensure that to the greatest extent feasible opportunities for training and employment arising in connection with this NYS AHC-assisted project will be extended to lower-income project area residents. Further, the contractor will, to the greatest extent feasible, utilize business concerns located in or substantially owned by residents of the project area, in the award of contracts and purchase of services and supplies.
