DASNY is soliciting bids for the Reinsulation of Basements/Crawlspaces and Asbestos Abatement at Sunmount DDSO. Work is scheduled for basement and crawlspace areas of Buildings 1-8 and 12 of the Sunmount DDSO facility in Tupper Lake, NY. Project includes the installation and maintenance of a temporary steam/heat system for temporary mechanical system isolation and shutdowns, asbestos abatement with enclosure of soil floors, and re-insulation of pipes after abatement. Temporary steam/heat systems consists of an electric pool heater, multiple tank type electric water heaters, trailer mounted rental boiler with fuel oil storage tank and all associated electrical, mechanical and plumbing work associated with interconnecting temporary steam/heat system with existing site infrastructure. The estimated value of the HVAC Contract is $2,500,000 - $3,000,000.
