ROJECT SCOPE OF WORK, BUDGET, AND CONTRACT TIME DESCRIPTION A. Summary Project Description: New roof panel over lay of existing roof, installation of new downspout and gutter and clean and paint existing downspouts, as indicated on drawings. B. Contract Scope: Roof replacement C. Owner's project budget for the total Contract Amount: Not to exceed $300,000.00. D. Contract Terms: Lump sum (fixed price, stipulated sum). E. Time of Completion of the Work: Bidders shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. 1. Work is subject to liquidated damages of $500.00 per calendar day for failure to substantially complete the Work within the stipulated calendar days and $500.00 per calendar day for failure to achieve Final Completion within the stipulated calendar days after Substantial Completion as described in the Contract between Owner and Contractor. 2. The Contractor may ask for additional calendar days added to the work schedule to due any delays in the Work due to the Owner, changes in order of the Work, or inclement weather. The amount of extended time shall be approved in writing at the sole discretion of the Owner. 3. Liquidated damages shall be assessed for any additional days not approved by the Owner. F. Date of Substantial Completion to be no later 30 days prior to Final Completion. G. Application for Final Payment to be no later than Tuesday, November 22, 2022. A. Last Request for Substitution Due: 7 days prior to due date of bids. B. Last Request for Information Due: 7 days prior to due date of bids.
