Renovations include updates both inside and outside the building. Staff say this will not only change the look of the museum but help with maintenance and capacity concerns. A grand opening is planned for February 2024. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Project Description: Project consists of renovation to the facility per plans and specifications including but not limited to main entry relocation, lobby improvements, finishes throughout, new roof and HVAC systems. 1. Work to Begin on: May 15, 2023. 2. Work Substantially Complete on or before: January 15, 2024. 3. Final Project Completion on or before: February 15, 2024. Project base bid is anticipated to be under $3,475,480.00. Owner will issue an authorization letter and an exemption certificate to the contractor and/or subcontractors for the purchase or use of building materials, supplies, and equipment to be used on this project only. DO NOT include sales tax on your bid form. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids.
