Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The Work generally consists of bringing SW Quadrant Parks into ADA Compliance per the DOJ settlement agreement. The estimate of cost for this project is $1,400,000. Contract Time Information Start Date: May 10, 2023 Final Completion: December 31, 2023 Bid security, as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code, in the amount of FIVE percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price. The City Council of the City of Cedar Rapids reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to enter such contracts as it deems in the best interest of the City. The City reserves the right to defer acceptance of any proposal for 60 calendar days after the bids have been received and opened.
