Renovation of a fire / police facility in Henderson, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
The project basically consists of the following: Furnish and install a new, water tight, PVC Membrane Roofing System for the Central Fire Station located at 401 West Main, Henderson, Texas. The current Central Fire Station building is a preengineered metal building structure with a typical "R" Panel roofing system. The intent of this bid will be to install a new 60 mil, PVC Membrane Roof System with flute fillers, HD Cover Boards and applicable flashing, trim pieces and perimeter wall termination at parapet wall system. The successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond as well as proof of statutory worker's compensation insurance. A maintenance bond and proof of insurance will be required before a notice to proceed will be issued. The Commissioners of Rusk County reserve the right to reject any or all bids. Bids may be held by the City for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
