PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS may be examined without charge in the office of Henderson Economic Development Corporation. Bid forms, plans, specifications .The project basically consists of the following: Construction of approximately 3700 linear feet of 37' back-to-back concrete curb and gutter spine roadway and 600 linear feet of 32' back-to-back concrete curb and gutter cul-de-sac roadway including all associated storm-water infrastructure. A Bidder's Bond, Certified or Cashier's Check in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with the Henderson Economic Development Corporation. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond as well as proof of statutory worker's compensation insurance. Henderson Economic Development Corporation reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bids may be held by Henderson Economic Development Corporation for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award. BIDDER further agrees to pay as liquidated damages, the sum of $500.00 for each consecutive calendar day thereafter as hereinafter provided in the General Conditions.
