Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Rifle, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of Aug 30 the project was awarded to Frontier Paving Incorporated for $569,226.50. Addendum: 1 This project is a street rebuild of West 2nd Street from Railroad Avenue to West Avenue and includes new concrete sidewalk, asphalt roadway, road base, surveying, storm drain, water service, demolition and export of materials in the project boundary, signage & striping, lighting, electrical, landscaping, irrigation, Traffic control will be the responsibility of the contractor. Traffic control plans will be required for submittal and approval. Access to businesses shall remain open for the duration of the project. Street lighting electrical is to come off of the existing splice box at the NW corner of West and Second. Road subgrade will be proof rolled and soft spots stabilized prior to road base placement. A final proof roll will be performed prior to asphalt placement. The contractor shall provide a loaded water truck and driver.
