Construction of: Town of Princeton Water and Sewer Rehabilitation Project: This Project Will Be Split Into Three Divisions. The First Will Rehabilitate the Existing Water Distribution Facilities by Abandoning Relic Piping and Installing New, Larger Piping in Its Place. New Piping Consists of 6 and 8 Inch Pvc With Associated Tees, Valves, Fire Hydrants, and Water Meter Reconnections. Saw Cut and Patching of Asphalt Paving Will Be Required to Install New Piping. The Second Division Will Rehabilitate the Existing Sanitary Sewer System. This Division Will Pipe Burst and Reline Approximately 3,300 Total Feet of 8-inch, 10-inch, and 12 Inch Sewer Piping. A Total of 10 Manholes Will Also Be Rehabilitated. As Well, This Project Will Include the New Installation of Approximately 265 Linear Feet of 8-inch Pvc Sanitary Sewer Piping and Two New Manholes. Included Is the Reconnection of All Sanitary Sewer Services. The Third Division Will Renovate Two Treatment Units Located at the Wastewater Treatment Plant. A Manual Bar Screen at the Head of the Plant Will Be Removed and Replaced With an Automated Unit. As Well, the Grit Removal Device Will Be Removed and Replaced With a New Grit Removal Device. Wastewater Contractor's and Utility Contractor's Licenses Are Required. With Request for Bidding Documents Please Supply the Following Information: Company Name, Contact Person, Street Address, Phone and Fax Numbers of Bidding Office, Nc Contractor's License Numbers With Limitation and Classification. Also Please Indicate if Firm Will Be a Bidder, Supplier, or Sub-contractor. Bids Will Be Received for a Single Prime Contract. Bids Shall Be on a Lump Sum and Unit Price Basis. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Security as Specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Section 746 of Title Vii of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division a - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017) and Subsequent Statutes Mandating Domestic Preference Applies an American Iron and Steel Requirement to This Project.
