Renovation of a power facility in Denison, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a power facility.
The project consists of converting the electric primary cable and the secondary cables throughout the conversion area, including trenching, boring, and other excavations. This includes the installation of Owner-furnished equipment and materials, including the bases for the padmount transformers, padmount switches, secondary pedestals, and three-phase cabinet. This also includes furnishing and installing HDPE innerduct, and steel elbows. The construction location is the uptown block west of the Hyvee grocery store and portions of two other adjacent blocks. The Owner will provide and install the equipment, primary and secondary cable and terminations. The Board of Trustees will meet at Denison Municipal Utilities Offices on June 20, 2022 at 4:30 P.M., at which time and place the said Board will consider adoption of the plans and specifications, and proposed form of contract for the Uptown Electric Distribution Conversion project, which are now on file at the office of the Utilities. At said meeting the board will conduct a public hearing and take action of the received proposals. The Work will be substantially completed on or before June 15, 2023, and completed and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before July 31, 2023.
