Provide consulting services culminating in a Feasibility Report for Monterey One Water (M1W) and the Monterey Regional Waste Management District (MRWMD), including: Organics-to-Energy Study: Evaluate available energy and value of waste materials and byproducts, including sludge, food waste, and other organic wastes. Monterey Microgrid Pre-Design: Analyze the existing and future energy needs of M1W and MRWMD to recommend a microgrid configuration for onsite renewable energy sources. Economic Justice Analysis: Develop a 20-year financial plan including anticipated cash flow for the project alternatives selected from the feasibility studies above. Firms may submit a proposal on one or any of the three work studies described above. Questions regarding this RFQ/RFP must be in writing and sent to yohana@my1water.org (cc: ken@my1water.org and gpetraborg@mrwmd.org ) on or before , July 11, 2022, at 3:30 pm. Questions will not be answered by telephone. Response to questions will be provided to all parties participating in this RFQ/RFP solicitation. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
