DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT: The project consists of two separate bid schedules: The site development package (Schedule A) includes erosion control elements, surveying, on-site earthwork and export, asphalt walk and road construction, gravel parking, concrete paths, crusher fines path, aggregate base course paths, culverts, wood fencing & metal gates, benches, seeding and mulching. Major elements of Schedule B work includes erosion control elements, surveying, minor site demolition, traffic control, overlot earthwork adjacent to Wadsworth Boulevard, soil export, seeding and mulching. Schedule B includes work along 1500 linear feet of Wadsworth Blvd. frontage to provide excavation and embankment per the Schedule B Drawings. All work shall be completed outside of Wadsworth Boulevard pavements and no disruption of traffic on Wadsworth is allowed. A four foot (4') buffer shall be established around each existing power pole. The Bidder may submit a bid for one or both Bid Schedules. The bids for Schedule A and Schedule B will be considered by the City for award on an individual or combined basis. The City will award the Contract to the lowest responsible bidder for each Bid Schedule. The City may award the Contract to the lowest responsible bidder on Schedule A and on Schedule B separately or may elect to award the Contract for both Schedule A & B to the same bidder. The project is to be completed within One Hundred Fifty (150) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed.
