The project includes structural HMA resurfacing with patching to the roadway, as needed. Elements include approximately 2 of milling, wedge and level as needed, pavement removal, patching of intermediate, and aggregate as needed. The Proposal must be made on the forms provided in the Bid Packets. Each bid shall be accompanied by a cashier's or certified check, drawn from an acceptable bank, or an acceptable bidder's bond, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, payable to the City of Logansport, Indiana. The Bidder (proposer) must supply all information required by the bid proposal form. Liquidated damages for delay will be as provided in the Bid Proposal. Work hours will be as provided in the technical specifications. Partial payment will be made monthly based on an approved payment requisition. The Contractor and all subcontractors will be required to comply with required Federal and State labor regulations including Equal Employment Opportunity, EVerify, Non-segregated Facilities, and Affirmative Action requirements. The City of Logansport, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or parts thereof and to waive all responsibility for irregularities in bids. Bids may be held by the City of Logansport, Indiana, for a period of not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening of the bids, for the purpose of reviewing the bids and the investigation of the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. It is anticipated the contract will be awarded on July 20, 2022.
